Burnaby Scouts Carriage House Fire Donations

Burnaby Scouts Carriage House Fire
Donations
On January 12th 2018, fire burned through the Carriage House located in Burnaby BC. This is a heritage building being used by Burnaby Scouts as means of storing their outdoor equipment. It housed everything from cooking equipment to canoes. Initial investigations suggest it may have been an electrical failure but the exact cause still remains to be determined.

While Scouting does carry insurance, Zone West felt compelled to reach out and help. This is where you come in. For each $5.00 donation, you will receive a special 3.5” SUPPORTER badge. A single $25.00 will see donors receive a special red PHEONIX SUPPORTER badge. 100% of your donation will be given to Scouts Canada, Burnaby Scouts to replace their equipment and make their equipment catalogue grow so even more of their youth and volunteers can have great experiences.

Zone West is donating all the art time, badges, web management as well as packaging and shipping costs. There is no cost to Scouts Canada or yourself, other than your $5.00 or $25.00 donation. We will run this initiative until May 31st and thank you in advance for your support.
