Q1:
How do I start a custom designed pin?
Simple. Send us the design or idea by email or facsimile. Please include the size, quantity and the date you need them by. One of our artists will design something for you.
Q2:
I’m not a good artist. Do you have graphic designers that can help me?
Yes!! We have graphic designers that will help you with designing your pin. Send us your ideas by email, mail or fax.
The first hour of art time is included in the quote. Typically, it takes 1 hour to design a pin. We would like to use the free hour efficiently for you, so please send us enough information to work with.
Q3:
I found the logo on the internet. Can I use it in my pin?
The unauthorized use of registered trademarks and copyrighted logos or designs is illegal. When requesting manufactured products with the use of these logos, we assume that you have obtained permission. We do, however, reserve the right to ask for written confirmation of this permission. Zone West Enterprises Ltd. accepts no responsibility or liability for any unauthorized of licensed or copyrighted material of any kind. Zone West Enterprises Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to manufacture material which may be deemed to be offensive or which may allegedly be in violation of any legal statute.
Q4:
What is your minimum order
Our Custom pin minimum order is 100. Smaller amounts are available however the costs are higher as a result.
Q5:
What kind of file should I send?
You can send us the JPEG, PDF, DOCX, EPS, GIF, PNG, AI, PSD, SVG and CDR. We can work with pretty much any format. If you are not sure, please contact us.
Q6:
When can I expect to get a quote and the design back to me?
We strive to answer quotes within 24 hours. Once the quote is accepted by you a design can be ready in a day or two depending on the amount of work involved. These times vary depending on the demand.
Q7:
What is the turnaround time?
The production time will be approximately 4-6 weeks from the day you approve the artwork and confirm the order. The shipping time will be depend on the location and method that you chose. Overnight shipping is available.
Q8:
I don’t have a lots of time. Can you rush the order?
It depends. If the order is a reorder then we don’t have to make a mold and shipping times are reduced significantly. If this is a new order the pin production methods require time to create a mold and the curing of the materials.
Q9:
Can I return the pin?
Custom orders are made according to your specifications. We cannot accept returns on custom products. Please take the time to review the proof provided by our artist thoroughly. Once you have approved your order and the signed proof has been received by us indicating that your proof is correct, the order will be non-refundable / non-returnable.
Q10:
I have a pin that I like to make more of, but I didn’t order through Zone West. Can you remake them?
Yes, we can recreate an existing pin. Please send us high resolution JPEG, size and quantity first for the quote. Depending on the original design, we may require the actual pin to match the design and the color.
Q11:
Do you keep a record of our order?
Yes, we keep designs on file for a minimum of 10 years. If you decide to reorder, we will have your order in our system. All pin orders must be reordered within a 3 year period to maintain mold quality otherwise a fee will be charged to have the mold remade.
Q12:
Can I have a vector format file for our record?
There are additional charges for this service. Call for details.
Q13:
What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept cheques, VISA, Master Card, American Express and Diners Club International through our online payment portal for all crest orders. For Generic crests, payment is only available online where we accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Diners Club International.
Q14:
When do I have to pay for the order?
We require payment prior to starting the Custom design pin production process. You can send us a cheque or give us a call with credit card information when you order or after you receive the order invoice.
Q15:
Do you carry stock pins?
Not at this point in time. Please check back in the future, or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
